The Technical Manager is a newly appointed role that will ultimately deliver key technical support to the manufacturing production of high quality European PVCu windows and doors. Key things we are looking for: A desire to figure things out : You focus on the why and the how rather than the what. You get satisfaction out of pulling things apart knowing you can successfully piece it all back together again. A thirst for learning: There is likely to be a steep learning curve for the successful applicant so you must have the ability to soak up new information and apply it. Strong technical aptitude: Can think logically and creatively and can turn theoretical concepts into real-world application. Problem-solving skills: The potential to identify potential problems in advance, he confidence to overcome them and the sensibility to ask for help when needed. Maths and mechanical skills: Understands mechanical systems and the relationships between them as well as being well versed in basic trigonometry. Positive attitude: Enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of completing jobs and works in a collaborative manner with others. Naturally and experience in the windows and door manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
