Requirements
At least Master’s degree in environment science, technology or engineering, with bachelor’s degree in 985 or 211 university. Doctor’s degree is preferred.
Has a minimum of five years of sustainability related (ESG, or energy, or low carbon) experience in manufacturing industry. Operational experience includes those skills and competencies gained while working(chemical industry is preferred) ，with ESG or sustainability manager experience is preferred;
Experience in low carbon & sustainability service strategy development & business planning
Experience, skill or qualification in LCA, PCF or EPD calculation & verification, or similar scheme, e.g. ISCC, etc.
Experience in sustainability & low carbon project (internal or external ) and be able to develop the concept of sustainability service solutions.
ESG audit experience including internal audit, supplier audit, 3rd party audit experience is preferred.
Experience & knowledge in Carbon Trading, related product & system.
Good at communication and coordination
Willing to travel frequently ;
Fluent English Speaking.
Tasks
Service Provision
Act as project leader for sustainability & low carbon related service, including CCF, PCF, LCA and or EPD verification & validation;
ESG independent assessment & gap analysis project, and /or second party assessment project to provide technical support and /or ensure quality
Provide environmental information verification and validation service
Provide ESG related public training or seminar to clients
Services Development
Responsible for the ESG and carbon related business assurance service development based on ISO14001 /ISO45001/ ISO50001, as well as ISO14064-1/2, ISO14067, and PAS 2050, PAS2060, such as second party / supplier audit, independent assessment & gap analysis, customer tailor-made assessment and consulting service, including preparation of project plan and proposal, work instruction for audit etc.
Responsible for ESG and sustainability & low carbon related training business development, including development of training courses.
Support the development of new assessment service (e.g. based on ESG, ISO50001, ISO14064, ISO14067 etc.), including development of the new service concept, checklist and assessment report etc.
Technical Management
Responsible for updating of ESG, sustainability & low carbon legal requirements and maintain an ESG and low carbon legal requirements database
Responsible for interpretation of ESG legal requirements, and provide training to auditors and clients, draft relevant newsletter to client as required
Responsible for basic training and annual experience exchange for sustainability & low carbon auditors
Support ESG, sustainability & low carbon related seminar, customer events or workshop including preparation of bids/ proposal
Responsible for supply chain decarbonization solution development and onsite coaching in customer site;
Support Sales/Customer Services team to handle client enquiries, new client development etc.
Responsible for CCF, PCF, LCA and / or EPD report review and approval.
