Role Accountabilities, Expectations, and Responsibilities:
Management – Oversee the local technical team and day to day activities within NPD and QC. Providing mentorship, training and guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality work.
Project Management – Lead and manage the project portfolio within your region, adhering to project timelines and coordinating resources globally with other regional technical leaders.
EHS Compliance – Maintain and update EHS risk assessments, and SOPs for laboratory environments.
Quality Assurance – Maintain and develop NPD and QC systems and procedures as well as implementation of new SOPs when needed.
Technical Expertise – Provide technical guidance and governance to the business. Support and lead teams through development projects and quality investigations.
Collaboration – Liaise with commercial and marketing groups.
Reporting and Documentation – Maintain accurate documentation for all technical work through the team. Preparing updates, reporting progress and results to leadership and key stakeholders. Conveys technical ideas in written or verbal reports at a suitable level for the audience.

Works to site health, safety, and quality standards. Proactive in reporting issues and making improvements. Controls chemical and process hazards in the laboratory through internal procedures.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering, material science or other related technical discipline. Or associate’s degree with 20 plus years’ experience.
Minimum 7- 10 years of experience in a technical role
Deep technical knowledge of plumbing application testing and associated standards & regulations,
Strong communications, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
High proficiency with Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and CRM software.
