Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ping IAM Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, implementing, and supporting identity management solutions using Ping Identity products, such as PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingOne. The Technical Lead will work closely with the IAM team, business stakeholders, and clients to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance identity solutions. You will play a key role in leading IAM projects and ensuring the overall success of Ping Identity implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Ping Identity Implementations:
• Design and implement Ping Identity solutions (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, PingOne) to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IAM needs and translate them into technical solutions using Ping Identity products.
• Oversee the deployment and configuration of Ping Identity platforms across various environments (development, staging, production).
• Technical Leadership and Team Management:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of IAM engineers and developers.
• Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring best practices for Ping Identity solutions are followed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT, and development, to ensure successful IAM implementation.
• Identity and Access Management Architecture:
• Design and architect IAM solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and meet business needs.
• Manage SSO (Single Sign-On), MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), and API security implementations.
• Configure and manage identity federation and ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems.
• Security and Compliance:
• Ensure that IAM solutions meet security policies, regulatory compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Perform risk assessments related to IAM solutions and provide guidance on mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and analyze IAM systems to identify and resolve any security or performance issues.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Collaborate with internal teams, business stakeholders, and clients to define IAM requirements and solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for Ping Identity implementations and configurations.
• Provide training and support to users and administrators on IAM solutions.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in the IAM space, including Ping Identity updates and new features.
• Propose and implement enhancements to improve the performance, scalability, and security of IAM solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Ping Identity solutions, including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingOne.
• Strong experience with SSO, MFA, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols.
• Proven experience in implementing and supporting Identity Federation, User Provisioning, and API Security.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of IAM architectures and best practices, especially in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating Ping Identity solutions in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with LDAP, Active Directory, and other directory services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for IAM solutions (CI/CD pipelines, automation).
• Experience with API management and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Leadership Skills:
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team of IAM professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple IAM projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve IAM-related issues efficiently.
• Ability to design and architect complex IAM solutions and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:
• Ping Identity certification (e.g., PingFederate, PingAccess) is a plus.
• Certifications in IAM frameworks or related security fields (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are desirable.
• Additional Experience:
• Experience with API Gateway, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect integrations.
• Familiarity with Cloud Identity solutions (Azure AD, Okta) and integrations with Ping Identity products.
