Position Summary

We are looking for a Technical Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst to support and enhance our IAM initiatives, with a primary focus on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC). This hybrid role combines business analysis, technical execution, and governance to align IAM strategies with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of identity governance, hands-on scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and translate business needs into detailed IAM solutions and workflows—primarily using SailPoint ISC.
  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM controls to ensure compliance with internal policies, SOX, and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Information Security, IT, and Application teams—to define and support access certifications, joiner/mover/leaver workflows, and entitlement processes.
  • Write, test, and deploy scripts (Python, PowerShell, etc.) to automate and improve IAM processes and integrations.
  • Create and maintain documentation including technical specifications, process diagrams, test cases, and runbooks.
  • Support audit and compliance activities by providing documentation and access evidence, ensuring completeness and timely response to findings.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts: provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, SoD (Segregation of Duties), and compliance controls.
  • Proven experience gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with IAM standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or SQL for IAM automation.
  • Strong analytical and data skills, including advanced Excel use.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other IAM tools such as Saviynt, Okta, CyberArk, or Duo.
  • Background in system integrations using APIs or pre-built connectors.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments in an IAM context.
  • Relevant certifications such as SailPoint IdentityNow/ISC Engineer, CISM, or CISA.
