In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for various technical and tech-adjacent cloud roles.
• Translate complex technical concepts into effective learning materials, such as courses, labs, and tutorials.
• Leverage your understanding of cloud computing technologies, learning and development tools, and instructional design principles to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.

• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of cloud computing technologies, particularly generative AI.
• Instructional Design: Ability to create engaging and effective learning content, including courses, labs, and videos.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop creative, learner-centered training content for on-demand, instructor-led, and blended training. Build associated assets including, hands-on labs, videos, facilitator guides, and other resources.
• Perform needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the learning needs of each audience across global audiences.
• Deep dive into Google Cloud Data technologies such as Generative AI and other solutions areas to understand the services and develop effective training for our customers.
• Collaborate effectively with Engineers, Portfolio Managers, and other partners to support initiatives.
• Ensure and drive best practices standardization across all projects, content, and curricula.
• Manage Bug/Issue Triage: Prioritize and address bugs and issues in learning materials, ensuring a seamless learner experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another technical field, or Technical Curriculum Development.
• Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills within learning content, including effectively explaining technical topics to novice or non-technical audiences.
• 1-2 years experience with cloud computing technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a technical instructor or in technical training curriculum development.
• Associate or Professional cloud certification.
• 2 years of experience with training development tools (Storyline 360, Rise, or similar development tools)
• 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: Cloud Computing Technologies, Databases, Compute, Storage, Machine Learning, Systems Administration, DevOps, Infrastructure
• Excellent coordination, project management, and organization skills.
• Ability to collaborate with highly technical subject matter experts to develop training content and curricula.
• Experience with generative AI.
