Key Responsibilities

Hardware Authority – Create, update, and own end-to-end documentation for complex hardware and appliance products. Explain architecture, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting with crystal-clear language and visuals.

  • Visual Excellence – Produce and refine drawings, block diagrams, and exploded views that clarify each concept at a glance. Verify accuracy with engineering to ensure visual truth.
  • Cross-Team Leadership – Coordinate engineers, product managers, and support teams. Align goals, remove roadblocks, and secure approvals while upholding scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Project Management – Build and track detailed project plans. Define milestones, manage risk, set priorities, and report status to stakeholders. Deliver every document package on schedule and within budget.
  • Process Improvement – Audit existing workflows, propose measurable enhancements, and implement best practices that raise consistency, reduce cycle time, and boost re-use across product lines.
  • Clear Communication – Translate complex hardware and cloud-adjacent concepts into concise content for administrators, field engineers, and customers worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Technical Editing Mastery – Spot issues fast, enforce style guidelines, and convert jargon into plain language without losing accuracy.
  • Project Management Expertise – Proven record managing multi-disciplinary documentation projects, using Agile or traditional methodologies, and mastering tools such as Jira, Monday.com, or MS Project.
  • Check Point Products (Advantage) – Familiarity that accelerates content development for security appliances and integrations.
  • Networking Fundamentals – Solid grasp of TCP/IP, routing, and switching to document hardware configurations with authority.
  • HTML & CMS Basics – Ability to format and publish content in web-based systems.
  • Linux Proficiency (Advantage) – Comfort with command-line workflows when documenting Linux-based appliances.
  • Customer Focus – Commitment to deliver documentation that enables rapid deployment and issue resolution.
  • Team Collaboration – Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence without authority and drive consensus.
  • Fluent English – Native-level or equivalent proficiency for a global audience.
  • Self-Driven Learning – Track emerging hardware and cloud technologies, adopt new tools, and share knowledge across the team.
