As we continue to lead in technological advancements, Vault is now entering a defining phase of growth with a strategic $22.5 million investment from the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC). This investment will scale Vault's SECRET Cloud and introduce new services such as the AUKUS cloud capability, directly addressing Australia's strategic national security demands. Vault is now positioned to not only strengthen its existing relationships with federal and state government agencies, but also strengthen its relationships with private sector businesses requiring secure cloud storage.To support this growth, we are bolstering our capability by adding numerous key roles that are integral to our future success. Due to our team expanding, we are looking for a Technical Change Manager to join our Professional Services team to lead the change initiatives related to the establishment and integration of Vault’s cloud-based technologies and services. The role is based in our Canberra office and is a unique opportunity to ensure that Vault’s systems, processes, and service models are managed in a structured and user-centric way, with a focus on minimizing disruption, maximizing adoption, and ensuring compliance with ITIL/DevOps best practices.


You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and execution of change strategies for cloud-based projects and products, with a strong focus on Customer-specific requirements, including transition into service and sustainment planning
  • Applying structured methodologies (e.g., ITIL) to deliver change outcomes that are compliant, scalable, and aligned with Customer frameworks and governance protocols.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with technical teams, Customer stakeholders, end users, and leadership to ensure seamless alignment across change initiatives.
  • Leveraging strong communication and facilitation skills to lead workshops, briefings, and working groups in high-compliance or classified environments.
  • Operate within ITIL-aligned change control processes, while proactively managing risks and impacts across systems, teams, and service levels.
  • Analysing customer systems / processes and develop integration approaches between customer and internal Vault systems / processes to develop standardised service processes, workflows, and playbooks to enable consistent and measurable service delivery


To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with:

  • Strong experience in Service Design, Service architecture, ITSM, and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL best practices, including service strategy, design, transition, and continuous improvement
  • Experience delivering projects to Australian Government Customer in project and product change management
  • Ability to define and optimise service models, automation frameworks, and IT operating processes
  • Experience working with ITSM platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native service delivery methodologies.
  • NV1 Clearance
