Technical Business Analyst

Location - Gurgaon, Sector 18, UK Shift(1.30 pm to 10.30 pm)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a Healthcare Background to join our innovative HyperAutomation team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, leveraging your data analysis expertise to drive the development of our AI-powered healthcare solutions. The ideal candidate will combine healthcare domain knowledge with technical analytics capabilities to translate complex requirements into actionable specifications for our development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Documentation

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for AI and automation solutions in healthcare
  • Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
  • Develop process flows, data mappings, & system integration specifications
  • Document current state workflows and design optimized future state processes
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle

Technical Data Analysis

  • Analyze healthcare data patterns and validate system functionality using Python or SQL
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to understand source data structures and quality issues
  • Create data mapping documents for system integrations & migrations
  • Design and validate data flows between multiple healthcare systems and databases
  • Develop data quality rules and validation criteria for testing

AI & Automation Project Support

  • Assist in training and fine-tuning ML models by providing domain-specific guidelines
  • Design test cases to validate AI-driven outputs and automation workflows
  • Analyze process metrics to identify automation opportunities across clinical and administrative workflows
  • Support integration of AI solutions with existing healthcare information systems
  • Document AI decision points and business rules for automated systems

Project Coordination

  • Facilitate requirements workshops and JAD sessions with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, data scientists, and QA analysts
  • Validate delivered solutions against original business requirements
  • Create implementation plans and coordinate UAT activities
  • Communicate project status and technical issues to stakeholders at all levels

Specific Project Focus Areas

  • Clinical Documentation Automation: Support development of AI solutions that convert patient visit conversations to structured clinical documentation
  • Medical Coding Analysis: Analyze patterns in clinical notes to improve automated CPT/ICD and DX code generation
  • Claims Processing Optimization: Develop specifications for intelligent claims prioritization and denial resolution workflows
  • EMR Integration: Define data mapping requirements for our interoperability layer connecting with various EMR systems
  • Provider Credentialing Workflows: Design requirements for high-volume credentialing applications and roster management

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare technology projects
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience writing complex queries across multiple database systems
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare data analysis (claims, clinical, or operational data)
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, terminology, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent documentation skills with experience creating detailed technical specifications
  • Experience working in Agile development environments

Technical Skills

  • Database Skills: Proficient in SQL (required); experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
  • Data Analysis Tools: Experience with data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Requirements Tools: Proficiency with requirements management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
  • Process Mapping: Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
  • Healthcare Systems: Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, practice management software, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, X12)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML projects, particularly in natural language processing or automated document processing
  • Knowledge of RPA tools and implementation methodologies
  • Healthcare certifications (RHIA, CPHIMS, CPHI, etc.)
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis
  • Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare compliance, and data security requirements
  • Exposure to medical coding, revenue cycle management, or provider credentialing processes
