Outline Of The Role

Plan, facilitate and execute business analysis activities including but not limited to, problem/opportunity identification, process mapping, defect analysis, requirements elicitation and working with developers in solution design. Acts as liaison between business, Product management and technology stakeholders. Rationalizes and understands how technology can solve business problems. Through adaptable planning and communication skills, they work collaboratively, negotiating requirements and priorities across multiple groups. Curiosity, creative problem solving, and teamwork are all essential for success in this role.

• Collaborate with retail stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate data from various retail sources.
• Work with APIs and integration tools to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Understanding and execution of SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Create and maintain dashboards (using tools like Power BI or Tableau) to monitor key retail metrics and performance indicators. Provide actionable insights that support strategic retail decisions and enhance overall business performance.
• Leverage a product mindset to propose innovative data solutions that enhance retail operations and customer experiences.
• Work cross-functionally with product, engg and business teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst, with retail, e-commerce is a must.
• Proven track record of building data pipelines and working with large, diverse datasets.
• Strong SQL skills with a thorough understanding of Data
• Proficiency in working with APIs and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with dashboarding and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS S3) is desirable.
• Experience of working in Agile delivery is a must.
