Position: Business Analyst

Location: Montreal

Main skills- User stories, SQL, Data Collection and Stakeholder Management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and optimize IT risk and compliance workflows.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop process models, workflow diagrams, and compliance frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to implement automated solutions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOX, NIST).
• Identify gaps in risk and compliance processes and recommend improvements.
• Support audit, governance, and risk assessment activities.
• Create reports and dashboards for risk monitoring and compliance tracking.

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT risk & compliance.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and risk assessment tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong data collection skills and the ability to present and explain data effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable in proactively communicating with stakeholders inside and outside the immediate team to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
