Summary

  • 6+ years of experience in technical documentation, preferably within a product-based company.
  • Proven experience with Zendesk for creating layouts, templates, and other content elements.
  • Hands-on experience in developing online help, release notes, user guides, and other technical content.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge and domain expertise.
  • Proficient in HTML5 and CSS, and able to collaborate effectively with UI designers for tweaks and changes in templates and layouts.
  • Demonstrable ability to create clear, crisp, and user-friendly documentation. Willingness to share work samples.
  • Collaborate with SEO teams to ensure content is easily discoverable by users.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, and product managers to understand product requirements and changes, filtering out non-essential inputs.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting requirements and priorities.
  • Ability to engage with Irish/UK audiences and respond promptly to queries or feedback.
  • Technical acumen to troubleshoot and offer solutions for documentation challenges.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable to changing requirements and able to take on new tasks quickly.
