About the job

You will:

• Possess the passion and zest to build great digital media software products
• Architect technical solutions that meet business requirements, that are of high quality and that are cost effective
• Provide technical leadership for a high performing software development team
• Have good understanding of modern software frameworks, languages and concepts
• Ensure DIAGNAL solutions meet defined non functional requirements, security compliance and maintainability requirements
• Think well ahead to mitigate technical risks before they arise
• Assist the team in identifying the root cause of technical issues
• Roll up your sleeves and code when required
• Document solutions and best practices with a high attention to detail
• Proactively lead technical reviews to ensure best practices are being followed
• Assist the QA team on Performance, Penetration & Security tests
• Assist TA team in evaluating candidates
• Assist on the technical aspects of the sales cycle including estimations, product and solution briefings, technical discussions, proof-of-concepts
• Solve difficult technical problems creatively across coding, testing, deployment, support and technical operations

You have:

• 7+ years of total software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more front-end development technologies including iOS, Android(Java+Kotlin), ReactJs/NextJs, React Native/Flutter.
• Proficiency in backend development using AWS stack including Lambda, NodeJS, Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD, Containers, Elasticache, S3, Redshift, Kinesis, RDS, DynamoDB, Glacier, ELB, Route53, API Gateway, CloudWatch CloudFormation.
• Experience as a technical lead in a client facing role with excellent English communication skills to successfully engage with customers and colleagues.
• Experience with logging and monitoring systems - Logstash, Splunk, NewRelic, Nagios, Loggly, CloudWatch.
• Good understanding about end-to-end video streaming journey, and knowledge about different media codecs(H.264/H.265/WebM), video compression, transcoding, streaming(DASH/HLS/LL) & DRM protocols, QoS/QoE optimisations & player architecture.
• Experience with development & deployment for Samsung/LG, Xbox/Playstation, AndroidTV/FireTV, Chromecast/Airplay & tvOS
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Git workflows, JIRA, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, Selenium
• A solid grasp of Agile software development, TDD and Continuous Delivery
• A Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
