Job Description
This is a hands-on system and Cloud Technical Architecture role. You will be driving design details of Oracle application framework Container services and solutions. You will have the responsibility of providing technical leadership support to multiple development teams, and coordinating system architecture direction across product management and development teams. Primary JD will encompass similar activities with experience on one or the more activities which could help in Cloud setups
- Single point of contact with customer for Cloud enablement/assessment
- Infrastructure assessment (networking, applications, databases, etc.)
- Identify application dependencies.
- Based on inventory report, determine end of lifecycle of workloads (OS versions, application versions, database versions, etc.)
- Identify high availability and geo-redundancy requirements.
- Automation assessments tasks
- Networking Design
- OCI landing zone templates creation/update
- Work with OCI team to build the OCI environment
- VM creation, Subnet Creation and routing table creation
- End to End application validation with customer (troubleshooting latency, packet loss, burst, etc…)
- Knowledge on Regression testing
- Experience on Performance testing

Responsibilities
An Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) TA is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions for clients using Oracle Cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, database, and security features, by understanding client needs, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring successful migration and optimization on the OCI platform
Required skills and qualifications:
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services:
Deep expertise in OCI compute, storage, networking, database, security, and other core services.
Cloud architecture design:
Ability to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud architectures on OCI.
Scripting and automation:
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure management tasks.
Networking knowledge:
Understanding of network concepts like subnetting, routing, and firewalls.
Database expertise (preferred):
Knowledge of Oracle Database administration and best practices for managing databases on OCI.
Consulting skills:
Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and understand their requirements.
