Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to be a part of the multi-billion dollar Borough Based Jail Program located in the New York City area. The Technical Architect is responsible for providing design and technical input for a large scale, new building project.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Leads the technical direction of projects, assisting the Project Architect and other team members with the successful delivery of the project.
• Interfaces with Clients, Client representatives, Consultants and Construction Manager.
• Has a working knowledge of local and state building codes, conducting code research and applying analysis to design requirements.
• Prepares design documentation including surveys, reports, architectural drawings, details and specifications throughout all project phases in line with the project delivery schedule.
• Actively coordinates with internal and external team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in building design and construction document preparation.
• Experience working on public projects in the New York Metro market (DDC, SCA, NYCHA, PANYNJ, MTA, etc.)
• Proficiency in Revit as this position includes Revit production.
• Professional License is a plus.

**This position offers a hybrid working arrangement**

Salary: $125,000 - $160,000
