Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Analyst to join our research and advisory team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in charting tools, market indicators, and pattern recognition to provide actionable trading insights. You will be responsible for generating technical research reports, identifying trading opportunities, and advising clients or dealers on market movements and technical levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth technical analysis of equities, indices, commodities, and/or currencies using various charting tools and technical indicators.
  • Track market trends and identify short-term and long-term trading opportunities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and intraday technical reports and trading calls.
  • Collaborate with the fundamental research and dealing teams to formulate actionable investment strategies.
  • Provide technical outlook on specific stocks and sectors to clients, relationship managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze price patterns, volume action, moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci levels, etc.
  • Maintain and update proprietary technical models and support tools.
  • Deliver real-time technical advice during market hours (e.g., buy/sell/hold decisions).
  • Contribute to client communication through presentations, webinars, newsletters, and one-on-one calls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (MBA/CFA/CFTe/NCFM certifications preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Analyst in a stockbroking or investment advisory firm.
  • Proficiency in technical charting platforms like TradingView, MetaStock, Spider, Bloomberg, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of technical analysis tools and theories (Dow Theory, Elliott Waves, Candlestick Patterns, etc.).
  • Knowledge of derivatives (F&O), market microstructure, and momentum strategies is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to work under pressure during volatile market conditions.
Preferred Certifications:
  • NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives Certification
  • NISM Series XV – Research Analyst Certification
  • Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) or Chartered Market Technician (CMT)
