Summary

Position Overview: We are seeking a Technical Analyst with a strong background in AWS-based application support and monitoring. This individual will play a critical role in both day-to-day technical support operations and our on-call rotation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling customer-facing application issues, proactive in engaging with partner teams, and skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex production problems. This role is vital to reducing incident turnaround time, improving team flexibility, and freeing up full-time staff for strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: * Provide on-call production support, responding to escalated system events, automated alerts, and xMatters pages. * Perform ongoing system monitoring and maintain technical documentation and alert configurations. * Lead efforts in the restoration of services following disruptions or incidents. * Support deployment validation tasks, ensuring production readiness post-deployment. * Manage daily incident tickets, including triage, root cause analysis, and resolution or escalation as needed. * Engage with partner teams to dig into application behavior and resolve support issues outside the on-call cycle Required Qualifications: * Hands-on experience with AWS cloud-based application development and monitoring. * Proficient in Java, SQL, and Splunk for troubleshooting and log analysis. * Solid experience in application monitoring tools, especially Grafana; experience with New Relic and Wiley is a plus. * Demonstrated ability to support and troubleshoot customer-facing frontend systems, preferably in the financial services domain. * Previous experience in a structured on-call rotation with the ability to operate independently once trained. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with incident management tools and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). * Familiarity with front-end financial account systems and support environments requiring regulatory compliance. * Background in documentation standardization, SOC audits, EOL, or application decommissioning initiatives.
