As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) embedded within the Program Management Office (PMO), you will deliver strategic technical insight across the entire acquisition lifecycle. * Evaluate cloud-based architectures, user interfaces, data integration, and security for system alignment with NGA enterprise solutions.
* Guide the development of technical requirements, test plans, and system documentation (e.g., SRD, SRS, ATP).
* Conduct capability assessments, system design reviews, and verification and validation activities.
* Liaise between NGA leadership, contractors, and end users to ensure mission-focused outcomes and cross-program integration.
* Analyze user workflows and translate findings into system enhancements and feature recommendations.
* Support contractor evaluation, acquisition planning, and preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Coordinate and lead technical exchanges and integration activities across multiple NGA programs and security domains.
* Provide program tracking, risk assessments, and resource allocation monitoring in support of program objectives.
* Ensure compliance with security protocols and alignment with NGA's Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in IT Cloud Systems, Data Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in engineering and deploying geospatial intelligence systems.
* Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Desired:
* Familiarity with cloud systems, systems engineering, security engineering, and testing.
* Understanding of GSR, The Globe, and geospatial intelligence mission objectives.
* Knowledge of geospatial data standards (e.g., OGC).
* Experience working with acquisition, integration, and user engagement in an IC/DoD environment.
