Are you a seasoned engineer with a deep understanding of automotive infotainment systems and SW tool chain architecture? We're looking for a Technical Consulting Engineer to join our automotive client’s transformation project in Japan!
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Assess current software development toolchain architecture
Design and implement a new architecture based on redefined processes
Select and manage tools across the development lifecycle
Oversee vendors in PoC development and testing
Analyze and refactor toolchain based on PoC outcomes
Provide implementation guidance to vendors, if required
âś… Must-Have Skills & Experience:
10+ years in engineering roles with strong automotive sector exposure
Experience with Automotive Android and QNX OS
Proficient in HAL development, CI/CD toolchain architecture, and vendor management
Familiar with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor for code/test generation and review
Ability to analyze errors and optimize toolchains
🧩 Nice-to-Have:
Japanese language proficiency
Virtualization/Emulation experience (DSP, ECU, etc.)
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) management
Skills in C++, Kotlin
