Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Acquiring & Authorization IT team and the IT Toll Services team

- Manage both onshore and nearshore teams

- First point of contact for the business

- Effectively manage the operations of two technology teams and their support functions

- Working closely with the Product Management and Partnership Management Fuels and Toll department and other areas

- Drive the business strategy, goals and needs of the company

- Responsibility for managing service providers

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop innovative solutions

- Development of new digital acceptance media

Required skills:

» Education:

IT, technology or closely related business studies completed by a Bachelor or Master degree or a similar education

» Experience:

- Several years of experience (min. 5 years) in a multi-team management in an internationally acting organization

- Experience with international projects

» Knowledge and Skills:

- Payment technologies (e.g. emv Chip, mobile payment, digital payment solutions, …).

- Experience in project management, in classical as well as agile framework.

- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate objectives, inspire and motivate teams, and maintain alignment with business and IT.

- Familiarity with Tolling environments (Road Tolling and Registration Systems) ) is advantageous.

- Database (ORACLE and/or DB2) and cryptography knowledge would be a plus

- Wide analytical, conceptual planning and execution skills: capability to combine daily operations, project/business demands as well as mid-term internal change such as rationalization and migrations.

- Great verbal and written communication skill, to technical leaders and to business teams.

- Experience in Budgeting and P&L management: OpEx, CapEx, analysis of expenditures.

- Knowledgeable in new technologies and modern architectures, experienced in working with APIs, cloud native solutions.

- Knowledge of payment transactions and the payment protocols used there (ISO 8583, IFSF, ...) is an advantage.

- Fluent in English

- Fluent in German

- Location: Union Tank Eckstein GmbH & Co. KG, Kleinostheim – Germany

- Contract conditions (travel requirements, etc.): Willingness to travel, hybrid – Office in Kleinostheim 3 times a week, 2 times home office possible.

- System access: The job holder (m/f/d) has access to all documents required to fulfil his/her duties. He/she has the authorisations for the relevant IT systems.

- The job holder acts independently and autonomously within the scope of the tasks assigned to him/her. He undertakes to fulfil his duties on time, to a high standard of quality and in accordance with the objectives and agreed results. They will always be guided by the corporate strategy.
