Job Profile

• Infrastructure Optimization: Optimize desktop and network infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of desktop hardware and software assets.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement and monitor backup solutions for desktop systems. Test and ensure the effectiveness of data backup and recovery processes.
• Incident Response Preparedness: Develop and regularly update an incident response plan to ensure quick and effective resolution of security incidents.
• Network Maintenance: Implement proactive network monitoring to identify and address potential issues before they impact users.
• Security Compliance: Conduct regular security audits, implement advanced threat protection measures, and enhance user awareness through security training.
• Performance Optimization: Regularly monitor and optimize server performance to ensure optimal efficiency and response times.
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to server-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures.
• Automation Implementation: Identify opportunities for automation in server management tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure server configurations adhere to compliance standards and industry best practices.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop, maintain, and regularly test a disaster recovery plan for server systems to minimize downtime in case of unforeseen events.
• Desktop Support: Provide timely and effective support for desktop hardware and software issues.
• Software Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and update desktop software applications. Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and security policies.
• Hardware Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on desktop hardware to ensure optimal performance. Identify and replace faulty hardware components as needed.
• Remote Support: Provide remote support for users working off-site or in different locations. Ensure secure and efficient access to desktop resources remotely.
• System performance Monitoring: Monitor desktop performance and take proactive measures to address potential issues. Analyse performance metrics and optimize systems for efficiency.
• Server: User creation and folder access on AD server
• Computer Setup and Email Configuration for New Joining: Ensure that new joiners have fully functional computer hardware ready for use. Provide new joiners with access to their email accounts and configure email clients (Outlook, Blue mail).
  
  

Candidate Profile

Education Required: - BE IT, BE Computer, BSC, BCA

Certifications: CCNA, MCSE.

Experience Required: - minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in hardware and networking.

Skills Required: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including networks, hardware, and software.

Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and protocols.

Knowledge of cloud platforms.

Experience with configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

Diagnosing complex technical problems and providing quick, effective solutions. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
