Team Leader - ERP Module Support (Finance & Accounting)

📍 Location: Paderborn

Responsibilities of the role:

• Ensure the smooth operation of financial applications across international locations in line with established standards.
• Focus on financial accounting, asset accounting, and compliance with IFRS closing standards.
• Lead a team of three employees and collaborate closely with international users in financial and asset accounting.
• Evaluate user requirements and coordinate necessary developments with the internal development team and external service providers.
• Manage and monitor regular module updates and mid-year adjustments, considering country-specific laws and procedures.
• Act as the key contact during major roll-outs of new solutions, coordinating on-site implementation and ensuring successful go-live.

Ideal Candidate:

• 3–5 years of experience in financial or asset accounting, auditing, or as a certified tax specialist, ideally with experience supporting ERP applications. (Experienced and qualified career changers are also encouraged to apply).
• Fluent in English (required); German is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize requests and manage internal developers and external partners.
• Solid understanding of ERP program structures and experience in implementing application changes.
• Well-organized and creative, with the ability to network effectively on-site and openness to occasional travel.
