Job Description 

We are looking for a Team Lead - PHP (Laravel) Developer with strong technical and leadership skills to manage and guide our development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PHP and Laravel, experience in leading development projects, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance web applications. This role combines hands-on coding responsibilities with team management and project oversight. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers, ensuring high code quality and efficient task execution. 
• Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel framework. 
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. 
• Oversee project timelines, task allocation, and ensure delivery milestones are met. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, testers, and product managers. 
• Manage source control using Bitbucket, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (if applicable). 
• Ensure seamless API integrations and efficient backend performance. 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 
• Stay updated on Laravel and PHP ecosystem trends and implement best practices. 
• Ensure security, compliance, and quality standards are maintained across all projects. 
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new developers. 

Requirements 

• 6+ years of experience in PHP development with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
• Expertise in Laravel and deep understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles. 
• Strong experience in API development and integration for large-scale applications. 
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies (Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. 
• Familiarity with version control systems (Bitbucket, Git). 
• Knowledge of AWS will be a plus.
