We are looking for a
Specialist Behaviour and Intervention Support Teaching Assistant.
We are pleased to be looking to recruit an appropriately experienced, and hardworking individual to join our dedicated, supportive and highly effective team. The role involves leading and supporting a range of individual and small group interventions as well as working with the senior leadership team to support with the implementation of effective management of behaviour across the school.
We are a small rural primary school in the beautiful village of Woolpit near Stowmarket.
Since September the school has a new Senior Leadership Team who are continuing to move the school forward. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our continuing journey, striving together to be the very best that we can be. The person who fills the post will need to have a positive, resilient attitude and be willing to go the extra mile to support our school.
We are looking for a highly motivated team player, with a calm and patient approach who:
- who has experience of working across the primary ages and with children with varying needs
- has good English and Maths skills
- can form positive relationships with children and liaise with teachers, SENDCo and senior leaders
- is willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary.
- is willing to learn
- can go over and above to get the school to the place we aspire it to be
