Good understanding of Application environment (Troubleshooting issues related to applications hosted on Linux boxes)
Experience in handling Java exceptions, Oracle DB errors and similar application failures.
Expertise in deploying builds using Software Configuration Management tools, bootstrapped deployments, Jenkins, CHEF and Bitbucket and release management activities.
Alert handling and monitoring using tools like Splunk and perform triaging of incidents.
Good understanding of networking concepts such as Firewall/VPN. Must be able to trace network / connectivity issues that impacts application.
Have performed server-side Automation – shell scripting, ansible or similar tools.
Have experience working on ITSM tools – BMC Remedy Helix, Jira
Experienced in setting up and administering middleware tools – IBM MQ, Kafka and Tibco FTL
Security and Quality Orientation, SSL certificate management.
Google Cloud will be a plus.
Good communication
