Exciting Opportunity: Task Force General Manager with LivAway Suites!
About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a Task Force General Manager that can travel extensively, up to 100%, to various locations nationwide. As a Task Force General Manager, you will be instrumental in serving our LivAway Suites extended-stay properties in transition. You will assume full responsibilities as the acting General Manager, managing all revenues, cost controls, team development, staffing, conflict resolution, and all facets of the daily operations. Additionally, this position will play a critical role in asset preservation and ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional guest service and operational excellence across all LivAway Suites hotels.

Salary: Dependent on experience, $70,000 - $80,000.

Primary Duties:
Provide leadership to a team of 6-8 employees, including selecting, training, counseling, motivating, and stepping in to assist when needed.
Promote and ensure exceptional guest services by monitoring hotel cleanliness and promptly resolving guest-related concerns to maintain a "Guest Ready" environment.
Oversee property revenue and budget, manage monthly inventories, and handle ordering and receiving goods.
Analyze Profit & Loss and General Ledger statements, submitting timely P&L Variance Reports to ensure financial objectives are met.
Drive sales and marketing efforts to maximize profitability by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the hotel and surrounding areas.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with competitive properties, city conventions, Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, target accounts, and clients to support hotel business goals.
Review the operations of the property and staff, identifying areas for improvement and additional training or review.
Conduct training sessions based on property assessments, ensuring all employees are trained in operational procedures, service standards, safety protocols, safety/security, HMC Clean & Safe standards, and LivAway brand compliance.
Review social media and Medallia scores to identify additional gaps in training or execution of processes and procedures.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to hotel staff to reinforce learning objectives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure exceptional guest service
Utilize diverse training methods, including workshops, role-playing, e-learning, and on-the-job training, to effectively deliver content to a wide range of audiences.
Travel to different hotel properties to implement training sessions and provide support, ensuring consistent execution of training initiatives, including for new hotel openings, acquisitions, and underperforming properties.

Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years ‘hands-on’ hotel General Manager experience
Proven team development and leadership background
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Reliable transportation
Bachelor’s degree
Multilingual
Local candidates strongly preferred
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
