Position Overview

  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiting Manager to lead our recruitment team and drive talent acquisition strategies that support our clients’ evolving staffing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT recruitment, a passion for leadership, and a strategic mindset to scale our hiring capabilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier IT professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and understand their staffing needs.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and KPIs to optimize processes and ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to align recruiting efforts with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and Day IT Staffing’s hiring policies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment tools, systems, and platforms.

Technical Screening Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial technical screenings of candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and fit for specific IT roles.
  • Collaborate with technical leads or hiring managers to develop relevant screening questions and test scenarios.
  • Evaluate resumes and portfolios for technical accuracy and depth, particularly in areas such as software development, cloud technologies, data engineering, cybersecurity, and other IT specializations.
  • Use coding tests, technical assessments, and situational interviews to gauge technical competence.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to ensure effective screening standards.
  • Provide feedback to candidates and the internal team to ensure a smooth handoff to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 2 years in a managerial.
  • Strong background in IT staffing and familiarity with technical screening processes.
  • Solid understanding of technical roles, terminology, and software development life cycles.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and technical screening tools (e.g., Codility, HackerRank, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
