We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with a strong background in technical recruiting accompanied by a passion for finding and cultivating talent; collaborating with business leaders to fill critical roles; and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition to include researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates and then working with candidates and hiring managers through the full recruitment cycle from requisition to orientation. This role will be responsible for finding and hiring candidates with specialties in the fields of software development, cloud engineering, software testing, business analysis, software architecture, business development, project management, and more. Although much of our history has been serving the public sector, we have begun pursuing opportunities in the commercial space as well. The ability to support both sectors is a plus.

This role is based in Fairfax, VA with a preference for Hybrid work. Highly qualified remote candidates may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate independently to recruit and fill all open positions by owning and facilitating the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to onboarding.
  • Build partnerships with department leaders and hiring managers to anticipate and plan for staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Human Resources Director to draft and publish detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Source and identify top technical talent and business talent utilizing advanced Boolean searches in LinkedIn.
  • Craft compelling messages to candidates using InMails to elicit strong response rate and large pool of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct all first-round screening interviews for applicants and sourced talent and then submit recommended candidates to hiring managers for further consideration.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline by getting feedback from hiring managers, sharing feedback with candidates and moving candidates through the applicant tracking system to keep a record of recruitment activities.
  • Be a strong ambassador for Chainbridge Solutions’ strengths, which include our culture, work ethic, leadership, incredible talent, agility as a small business, excellent customer satisfaction, innovative products, and more.
  • Schedule team and hiring manager interviews and shepherds both candidates and hiring managers through the process by using thorough and detailed communication to ensure a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Work with the HR Director to identify and establish best practices, tools, and strategies, and to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Lead regular meetings with leaders and hiring managers to share status, determine needs, and address any ongoing challenges.
  • Develop metrics and reporting to track sourcing effectiveness, time-to-fill, and candidate quality.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline of both active and passive candidates, especially for hard-to- fill and security cleared positions.
  • Partner with placement agencies when needed to fill hiring surge or short-term roles.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience for all applicants using frequent and professional communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience And Skill Requirements

  • Must reside in the continental US and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 7 or more years' experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • 5 years of technical recruiting experience filing software development related positions.
  • In depth experience using LinkedIn Recruiter functions to include tools, searches, Booleans, inmails, reporting, and more.
  • Experience managing applicant tracking systems, including reporting and recruitment process workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation tactics.
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to regularly take initiative and find/develop solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Familiarity with applicant-tracking software used to post, track and manage candidates, interviews, feedback, and hiring stages. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • 2 years' experience leading or managing teams.

Preferred Requirements

  • 10+ years of total recruiting experience including experience managing teams.
  • Government Contract and cleared positions, as well as commercial recruiting experience.
  • Technical certifications related to Cloud or Software Development.
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification
