Opportunity Overview
Astound is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Princeton, New Jersey, to join our growing TA team! You will play an integral role in supporting the entire recruitment process, by providing administrative and project support to hire top talent for Astound in a timely manner. The TA Coordinator will understand the needs of the Talent Acquisition team to identify priorities, plan accordingly and execute to ensure candidates are engaged and hired in a timely manner, while maintaining a positive stakeholder experience, including Human Resources, recruiters, candidates and hiring leaders. The role requires strong interpersonal, prioritization and time management skills, a high sense of urgency, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
A Day in the Life of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator:
- Partners with every member of the TA team to support the entire recruitment process to hire top talent for Astound in a timely manner
- Assist with scheduling interviews between candidates, recruiters and hiring managers as needed
- Post job openings on company career pages, job board, social media platforms and other outlets
- Assists in pre-employment process, including background checks and new hire paperwork
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, including first-day schedules and necessary documentation with internal teams
- Support HR and recruitment teams with reports, data entry and process improvements
- Communicates in a timely manner to all stakeholders to keep them updated on progress
- Acts as the candidate’s trusted advisor providing a voice, support, guidance, and knowledge resources that will facilitate the achievement of becoming an Astounding member of the company, using the organization's onboarding products and services throughout the onboarding process.
- Ensure that all recruitment processes and communications comply with company policies, federal and state legal regulations.
- Handle candidate inquiries professionally and reach out to recruiters and/or Talent Acquisition leadership for guidance as needed
- Assists with talent acquisition events, career fairs and internal hiring initiatives
- Provides support in planning and strategizing future workforce needs and processes
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring To The Table
- At least 1 – 3 years administrative/ coordination experience supporting Recruitment, Human Resources or Sales
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software a plus
- High sense of urgency is required to be successful in this role
- Highly reliable and collaborative
- Flexibility to adapt to changes of the team and business
- Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills
- Strong relationship building and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft and Google products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
- Effective emotional intelligence, and verbal and written communication skills to interact and partner with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several shifting priorities
- Ability to effectively and efficiently use several technologies and systems, including but not limited to Applicant Tracking System, DocuSign, background check vendor platforms, etc.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently use spreadsheets and other documents via several platforms, including but not limited to, Smartsheets, Excel, Google Docs, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders and candidates

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $24.00- $32.00 (per hour), plus opportunities for bonus and benefits, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
