Position Highlights

These are fully remote positions within the state of Arizona. An in-person presence may be required at times to attend special events or meetings. These positions do not offer an option to work remotely from outside the state of Arizona.

Our TA team provides support to all divisions and colleges across campus and is currently growing its service as part of HR Modernization.

TA at the university is dynamic and allows you to work with individuals across campus representing multiple professions/disciplines. You will become part of the University's Division of Human Resources and partner with other HR professionals, campus leaders, and search committees. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and approve requisitions and offers, ensuring compliance with university policies, procedures, and applicable laws, while maintaining data accuracy and supporting compensation analysis and reference collection.
  • Provide guidance to hiring departments on interview processes, candidate profiles, and best practices, while participating in search committees and compliance initiatives.
  • Contribute to the analysis of hiring trends and metrics, identify issues with applicant pools, and assist in the creation of targeted recruitment marketing campaigns, especially for technical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Assist in developing new training tools and resources to enhance learning and support practical application for clients, hiring departments, and talent acquisition professionals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization, submitting recommendations to leadership, while also supporting the training of new team members and departments as needed.
  • May assist with creating outreach materials and support logistics for both virtual and in-person recruitment events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of key human resources principles, talent acquisition best practices and relevant employment laws/regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required; AND
  • One year of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional education, such as an Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous work experience in Human Resources.
  • Previous work experience in a higher education.
  • Previous experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Direct customer service experience.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-TASC, PHR or SPHR certification.
