Role Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL processes using Talend.
• Integrate data from various sources to build comprehensive data pipelines.
• Maintain and optimize existing ETL jobs for improved performance.
• Collaborate with data architects to design data models and structures.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and loading processes.
• Participate in requirement gathering and analysis for new projects.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting on database queries.
• Document ETL processes, data flows, and design specifications.
• Work closely with business analysts to ensure data is accurate and meets business needs.
• Utilize version control systems to manage changes in ETL jobs.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ETL operations.
• Stay updated with latest trends in ETL tools and technologies.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
• Train and mentor junior developers on best practices in ETL development.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Talend Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database systems.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Familiarity with API development and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
