Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes using Talend to facilitate data migration and integration.
• Collaborate with data analysts to understand data requirements and quality expectations.
• Work with databases, including SQL Server and Oracle, for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Implement and manage data quality measures to maintain the integrity of data sets.
• Analyze existing ETL processes and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability of data processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices.
• Create technical documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and data mappings.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in ETL development.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Provide user support and training on Talend and related data tools.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in ETL technologies and data management.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprints and daily stand-up meetings.
• Assist in project planning and provide accurate estimates for delivery timelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Talend Developer or in a similar ETL role.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data integration techniques.
• Experience with SQL and various database management systems.
• Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with scripting languages.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide insightful recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in data quality and data governance practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
