Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Tactical Data Link Operator in our National Security Sector's (NSS) Engineering, Integration and Operations Business Area (EIO), supporting the FUSIONS II program at Lackland AFB, Texas. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Support the 16th Air Force (16th AF) as a Joint Data Link Planner, performing a range of project management, technical integration, and operational support tasks to enable effective execution of Multi-TADIL Network (MTN) architectures and data link operations across joint and coalition environments.
* Under the general supervision of senior operations leadership, plan, monitor, and manage MTN integration efforts supporting major exercises and operational initiatives involving joint and coalition forces.
* Serve as a key liaison to the Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC) Watch Officer, Joint Data Network Operations Officer (JDNO), and Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) for all system administration matters.
* Coordinate closely with Joint Data Network Administrators (JDNAs), weapon system managers, and operational units to ensure Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems are properly configured and aligned with mission objectives and HQ ACC guidance, including compliance with CJCSM 6120.01 and CJCSM 3115.01 procedures.
* Lead architecture development, systems configuration, and troubleshooting for data link, sensor, and intelligence network integration into the 16ths AF's Common Operational Picture (COP). Apply deep knowledge of transmission protocols, bandwidth, message implementation, and system limitations to ensure interoperability and mission readiness.
* Monitor and resolve Common Tactical Picture (CTP) issues, direct subordinate units in execution of network architectures, and ensure CPT feeds provide an accurate, correlated view of the battlespaces of U.S. and coalition command and control elements. Perform system administration on Unix/Linus and Windows platforms, execute software upgrades, and deliver briefings on JDNO status and network performance.
* Recommend improvements to operations, provide technical mentorship to data link cell personnel, and support decision-making with inputs from intelligence, communications, and operational teams to ensure architecture alignment with OPTASKLINK and higher headquarters directives.
Security Clearance: DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
Basic Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in TDL operations (Link-16 and JREAP-A, B, and C) as well as supporting the operations and optimization of C2 equipment to include the Joint Range Extender (JRE), Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), Lin of Sight/Beyond Line of Sight (LOS/BLOS), Satellite Communication (SATCOM), and Radio Frequency (RF) data link antennas, and radios within and ISR environment
Skills: Knowledge of current TDL Military Standards (MIL STND)/STANAG and Air Force Instruction (AFI). Strong understanding of TDLs as well as managing and integrating data across different systems within a Joint operational environment. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience/Skills: Familiarity with the Joint Interoperability of Tactical Command and Control Systems (JINTACCS) program and its effort to ensure the C2 compatibility of all U.S. Military services and NATO weapon systems
Skills: National-Tactical Information-Operations experience and ISR system knowledge.
Certifications: JICO certifications (Completion of JT-101 Introduction to Joint Multi-TDL Operations Course, JT-102 Multi-TDL Advance joint Interoperability (MAJIC) course, JT-201 Multi-TDL Planners Course, and JT-301 JICO CAPSTONE). AFMAN 33-285 IAT Level II cybersecurity baseline certification; any one of the following: GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security+, Security+ Continuing Education (Security+ CE), System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate-Security (CCNA-Security.

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
