We are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer. In this role you will build the next generation of creative technology solutions that positively impact our clients and client service team experiences and will continue to shape and drive leading-edge market research solutions.

You will work on a team of highly motivated and talented individuals that collaborate with organizational leaders, product managers, technical project managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and client service stakeholders across the company to implement new features and products.

You must be able to work independently and you will be responsible for developing new features and/or products that will be used by professionals across the entertainment and technology industries.

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Insights (BI), Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years Tableau development experience.
• Understanding of SQL for writing optimized queries for data cleaning.
• Understanding of data warehouses and dimensional models.
• In-depth experience with algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience wrangling and organizing unstructured data sources (via live connection, Tableau Data Extract (TDE) or both through blending the data).
• Experience adding, creating and cataloging dimensions, measures and calculations; performing data modeling in Tableau Desktop; publishing workbooks and data sources to Tableau Online.
• Experience creating and maintaining custom calculations and custom parameters.
• Experience creating and maintaining multiple nested Table calculations.
• Experience with assigning custom images using Web Image URLs.
• Experience managing workbook access for users and user groups in Tableau and Tableau Online.
• Experience managing user licenses (Viewer, Explorer, Publisher, Creators).
• Experience with row level security for Tableau workbooks and Tableau OnlineExperience performing demos and trainings for other technical resources and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with other data visualization software: e.g. PowerBI, DisplayR, Looker, Amazon QuickSight.
• Experience with creating data visualization with programming languages: Python, R.
• Refreshing extracts from various data sources, including (but not limited to) relational databases, modern data warehouse solutions (e.g. Amazon Redshift, Snowflake), basic Excel workbooks.
• Experience proposing and planning data visualization solutions with UI/UX best practices in mind.
• Experience with version control tools like git or Github.
