About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tableau Developer Intern to join our Data Analytics team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data visualization and analytics using Tableau. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Tableau dashboards and reports. * Transform raw data into meaningful insights by designing clear, interactive, and visually compelling visualizations. * Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions. * Conduct data validation and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of dashboards. * Optimize Tableau workbooks and data extracts for performance. * Support ad-hoc data requests and create one-off visualizations as needed. * Assist with other duties as assigned Required Qualifications * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. * Familiarity with Tableau (or similar data visualization tools) through coursework, projects, or internships. * Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. * Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and usability. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Tableau Public or a Tableau Certification (Desktop Specialist or higher). * Exposure to data cleaning and transformation tools (e.g., Excel, Python, or Alteryx). * Understanding of basic statistics and data analysis concepts. * Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, or Google BigQuery). The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
