The Systems Training & Development Coordinator will play a critical role in leveraging, implementing and troubleshooting our current Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP solution. They will perform a variety of responsibilities including install, design, build, test, and deploy solutions to fulfill the changing needs of our organization. Their work will span across multiple business applications/processes and points of integration.
This position will play a lead role in improving the core business processes and systems. You will be working closely with users to provide support and training, gather business requirements, and continuously improve the system's functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, which are not listed below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Work with internal departments in defining test plans and test scripts to be used in user testing
2. Troubleshooting user issues within Business Central
3. Monitor and repair issues to keep critical operations running
4. Development reports and enhancement requests
5. Perform fit-gap analysis and create functional specifications for Business Central configuration and enhancements
6. Knowledgeable in product lifecycle; management, procurement, production, distribution, sales order fulfillment and finance
7. Acts as owners and stewards of operational issues, incidents, problems, and requests for facilities.
8. Implement the production floor process that includes Business Central (PrintVis Application)
9. Support Production Planning/Scheduling:
o Define the process that includes PrintVis in Planning/Scheduling
o Write down the process
o Test it with a small group of Power Users
o Train the support role and the Power Users on the process
10. Support warehouse implementations:
o Working with the warehouse teams to complete labeling, barcoding, etc. in preparation for system implementation
11. System administrator:
o QA areas of the system to ensure it’s being utilized properly
o Follow up when issues are identified
12. Jet Reports/Reporting expert
13. Open issue full resolution working with Wye Print: tickets, support, issue log
14. Assist with onboarding of new employees to Business Central
15. Additional training session lead/support
16. NAV Server and MS SQL Server administration
Requirements:
Required Skills and Competencies:
3 years experience in Business Central or Dynamics NAV
1 year of Project Management experience
Must exhibit a high level of Customer Service
Ability to talk to people with grace and assist with change management
Dependable; remains productive without direct supervision
Technically inclined
Exceptional problem-solving skills, critical thinker
Able to handle multiple priorities at one time
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
Ability to adapt to a system and train others
Ability to identify gaps in a process to be able to make suggestions for improvement
Handles sensitive issues with full confidentiality
Great written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to function well, with limited supervision and direction.
Must maintain solid attention to detail, with the ability to follow through on commitments.
