What You Can Expect In This Role

Your role within Corporate Services will support the department to provide high-level support to the Director-General, the Executive Leadership Team and the department in the areas of audit, finance, procurement, people and culture, information and digital, strategic communication and engagement and business support. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.

The Solution Development team works with subject matter experts, business analysts, iteration managers and testers to develop, enhance and support bespoke ICT systems. As the Systems Support Developer, you will be responsible for providing effective and timely support and problem resolution, including client focused applications development in Windows desktop and Azure environments for the Department’s Corporate Application systems.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Analyse logged help desk problems and service requests to provide appropriate advice, recommendations and solutions.
  • Use appropriate methods and tools to develop, maintain, control and distribute inhouse developed applications.
  • Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with customers and other sections of TDS.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standards, procedures and technical documents for application development and support undertaken by the Applications Support and Development Team.
