Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform primary administration support for Broadcom DX NetOps Performance Management, plus the various monitoring systems and automated services, to remediate issues with the applications/services or problems with assets in monitoring
• Partner with support teams to ensure the proper monitoring of systems
• Perform vendor engagement activities to work in collaboration with vendor support to resolve application issues
• Lead in assigned projects and work efforts
• Complete ticket assigned work
• Perform vulnerability remediations
• Create technical documentation of solutions
• Manage and maintain OS level patching schedules
• Prepare applications and systems for OS level patching and perform the application and system functionality validations after patches have been applied
• Train team members, NOC resources, support team members and engineers on monitoring solutions and services
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of monitoring solutions for network, compute, and application monitoring
• Significant experience and knowledge supporting DX NetOps Performance Management
• Support experience and knowledge for DX NFA is a bonus
• Broad knowledge of networking and computing technologies and platforms
• Solid grasp of ITSM concepts, framework, and information technology operations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient project management abilities
• Broad knowledge of new technologies and industry trends
• Basic programming skills and experience with Service Now and OpenText NA (formerly HPNA) are a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Efficient organizational skills
• Positive and optimistic outlook with a strong work ethic
