Job Description
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform primary administration support for Broadcom DX NetOps Performance Management, plus the various monitoring systems and automated services, to remediate issues with the applications/services or problems with assets in monitoring.
- Partner with support teams to ensure the proper monitoring of systems.
- Perform vendor engagement activities to work in collaboration with vendor support to resolve application issues.
- Lead in assigned projects and work efforts.
- Complete ticket assigned work.
- Perform vulnerability remediations
- Create technical documentation of solutions.
- Manage and maintain OS level patching schedules.
- Prepare applications and systems for OS level patching and perform the application and system functionality validations after patches have been applied.
- Train team members, NOC resources, support team members and engineers on monitoring solutions and services.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of monitoring solutions for network, compute, and application monitoring.
- Significant experience and knowledge supporting DX NetOps Performance Management
- Support experience and knowledge for DX NFA is a bonus
- Broad knowledge of networking and computing technologies and platforms.
- Solid grasp of ITSM concepts, framework, and information technology operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient project management abilities.
- Broad knowledge of new technologies and industry trends
- Basic programming skills and experience with Service Now and OpenText NA (formerly HPNA) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Efficient organizational skills.
- Positive and optimistic outlook with a strong work ethic
