Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure primarily on DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, and AWS environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support infrastructure deployments, scaling strategies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability using appropriate monitoring tools, proactively identifying issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, manage access permissions, configure firewalls, and ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
- Configure, install, and format hardware and software equipment to meet operational requirements.
- Manage email and communication tools using Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune.
- Regularly apply system updates, security patches, and configuration improvements with minimal operational disruption.
- Develop, execute, and regularly test backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, asset inventories, and change management processes.
- Implement asset management procedures to accurately track, monitor, and manage software licenses, cloud resources, and hardware.
- Work closely with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues swiftly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Systems Operations, Cloud Administration, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience managing cloud environments, particularly with DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, and AWS.
- Basic understanding of scaling methodologies, deployment strategies, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Familiarity with email and communication management tools, particularly Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Intune.
- Proficient with server OS environments (Linux and Windows Server).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, load balancers).
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of security standards, protocols, identity management, and endpoint security.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of effective collaboration across diverse teams
