Position Information

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of four (4) years of Banner ERP and programming experience.
• Experience with Oracle database developer expertise including SQL , PL/ SQL , database functions and procedures.
• Experience with Oracle SQL development environment such as Toad or SQL Developer
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI/reporting tools such as Argos or Power BI.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes, and system integrations in a higher ed setting.
• Understanding of higher education operations, including student records, financial aid, HR, and finance.
• Knowledge of BDM , Ethos, Banner Extensibility, Banner Workflow.
• Project Management experience.
• Knowledge of Linux shell script and or Cron experience.

Position Details

Position Purpose

The System Integrator plays a key role in supporting institutional decision-making by optimizing business processes, managing data analytics, and enhancing reporting capabilities within the Ellucian Banner ERP and related system. This position serves as a liaison between technical teams and functional users across campus, ensuring efficient use of Banner and BI tools to drive strategic initiatives within Oakland University.
