What You'll Do as a Systems Integrator This is a dynamic role perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, technically complex environments. You'll work at the intersection of hardware, software, systems, and people, using model-based systems engineering to drive innovation and integration across NASA programs. Key responsibilities include: Applying model-based systems engineering best practices to spacecraft and system models Managing complex systems interfaces and interdependencies Developing and maintaining interface control documents (ICDs) Supporting development of autonomous systems and distributed architectures Collaborating closely with engineering and software teams across NASA projects Engaging in software verification and validation activities Performing additional technical duties as needed Qualifications That Make You a Great Fit Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) 5-10 years of relevant experience in systems integration, aerospace, or related technical domain Experience with: Complex distributed systems Software development in C/C++ on Linux Requirements tools like DOORS NG Web-based collaboration platforms Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, GitLab, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, Slack Agile development background Scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) Familiarity with NASA standards and systems, including: NASA Gateway spacecraft Core Flight System (cFS) software infrastructure Strong coordination and project management abilities Excellent communication, documentation, and visual diagramming skills Adaptable, collaborative, and energized by solving big challenges with great people Additional Details U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required Must be able to pass a U.S. government background investigation Management may consider candidates at different levels depending on qualifications Your Next Step in a Career That's Out of This World If you're ready to take your skills to the next level and make a meaningful contribution to space exploration - we're ready for you.
