Position Overview We are seeking a skilled System Integration and Testing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of our system-level solutions. You’ll be responsible for implementing the hardware system according to design created by architectural team, integrating software component with the hardware system, and testing WinForms-based software application developed in-house in C# within the integrated system. Beyond ensuring quality standards, you will also be performing the final integration, verification/testing, and roll-out of new solutions or features to ensure the solutions we offer address target application needs of our customers. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test objectives. Build/Integrate new software/hardware system-level solutions and optimize for the target end-user application(s). Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for WinForms application developed in C#. Design and implement testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, usability, performance, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration. Document and report bugs using appropriate bug tracking tools, and verify bug fixes. Participate in software development. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Proficiency in C# or other object-oriented programming language Experience with test automation tools/frameworks for desktop applications. Hands-on experience working with oscilloscopes, function generators, power meters, and common electronic diagnostic instruments. Hands-on experience working with LED or laser light sources, LED or laser drivers, optical systems, scientific cameras and imaging systems, microscopes or microscope-like systems. Hands-on experience building laboratory instrumentation systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
