Purpose: The Systems Integration Developer & API Specialist helps build and maintain the connections between key campus systems-like the Learning Management System (LMS), Student Information System (SIS), and other tools used by students, faculty, and staff. This role focuses on creating smooth, reliable data flows through APIs and automation, so systems work well together and users have a better experience. By working closely with teams across campus, this person helps solve technical problems, improve system performance, and support projects that make academic and administrative processes more efficient. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend services to support data exchange and feature integration across enterprise systems such as LMS, SIS, identity management, and analytics platforms * Implement automated workflows and custom connectors that improve system interoperability and reduce manual processes for academic and administrative users. * Collaborate with stakeholders to customize and fulfill requests for new features, ensuring the system meets their learning and operational needs. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including API failures, data mismatches, and service interruptions, coordinating with IT teams and vendors as needed. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelors Degree in Education or Computer Science Experience: Relevant course and work experience of 2-4 years. Skills/Specialized: Proficient in SQL, Node.js, React, React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, API development (REST/SOAP), version control with Git, and Agile development practices. Or any combination of education, experience, or training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
