Design and integrate systems and applications into microcontroller components into a complete product for the electronic communications industry. Responsible for designing a complete and complex framework, system, and/or product within the Edge Processing business unit in order to advance the unit. Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and or software compatibility. Develop system tools that bridge operating systems, compilers, routers, networks and utilities for embedded modules. Conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes by identifying, analyzing and resolving system design weakness. Influence the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems. Provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, foreign equivalent or related field.
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered, Embedded Software Engineer, Systems and Application Engineer or related occupations.
Required Skills
Position requires three (3) years of experience in:
- Programming language such as Python, C and Bash;
- Hardware/software debugging;
- IoT MCU;
- DVFS framework;
- CPU voltage and frequency;
- GUI using PyQt5; and
- DMIC interface and I2S protocol.
Offered wage: $199,534 per year.
The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:
$158,900 to $218,500 annually
