Clearance Requirements: None Aquila is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a team responsible for the execution of compliance and assistance with vulnerability remediation activities primarily associated with enterprise information systems. This new position has been added to an existing team to support department expansion. The person hired will not only become familiar with the utilization of vulnerability reporting tools but also have the technical acumen to perform hands-on remediation of discovered vulnerabilities with IT teams across the organization. In addition, as a member of this team, a successful candidate must demonstrate senior level familiarly with the Red Hat (RHEL) operating system and related technologies such as Satellite and Ansible Tower. Responsibilities and Skills: Maintain frequent contact with multiple IT support teams and end-users to maintain communications related to compliance, problem resolution, and associated services

Excellent customer service skills and exceptional customer-facing skills are required

Excellent communication (both oral and writing) and organizational skills

Proficiency and hands-on experience with Tenable’s Security Center and IBM BigFix

Proficiency and hands-on experience with vulnerability remediation across multiple Operating System (OS) platforms include Linux, Mac, and Windows

Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with maintaining Red Hat Satellite, building Linux installation packages in support of enterprise software packages, and the configuration and maintenance of the RHEL operating system.

Demonstrated technical depth with multiple Operating Systems (OS) (Windows, Linux, Mac)

Working knowledge of IT security best practices as well as a high degree of troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues

Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment, learn new technologies and disciplines quickly and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and meeting deadlines

Perform in a fast-paced environment at times with minimal supervision and execute projects and administrative tasks with a high degree of quality, while following existing processes and establishing new operational procedures and best practices

Ability to work with members of other teams and staff to achieve department and organizational goals

Developing, debugging, and executing software in a Windows, Mac, and Linux environment
