Summary

Job Summary: Provide US Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) acquisition project system requirements and data management support. The position requires analyzing, tracing, prioritizing, and managing system requirements and communicating those requirements to relevant stakeholders which include system design architects, system engineers and system test specialists. Education and Experience: * BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or combination of studies and technically relevant experience. * Experience in supporting development, deployment, and sustainment of naval C4ISR systems. Essential Duties: * Manage USCG Sea Commander C4ISR System and related C4ISR system requirements. * Perform analysis for Engineering Review Boards. * Provide feedback at Software Engineering Review Boards. * Provide recommendations for improved interoperability with Coast Guard applications, including National Security Cutter (NSC) Sea Commander C4ISR system and Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Seawatch Command and Control system. * Measure and report operational and technical progress to meet Key Performance Parameters. * Assist with requirements verification, validation, and mapping. * Deliver requirements trace for verification and test procedure development. * Perform requirements analysis and tracing for tailoring into the Sea Commander system. * Provide weekly CASREP/Discrepancy summary. * Manage user feedback surveys. Evaluate feedback received, produce survey results report, and provide recommendations for changes using input from field personnel. * Review Jira, GitLab, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) and STARSYS databases for potential impacts to requirements. * Access Jira, GitLab, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) and STARSYS databases to identify current Software Change Request (SCR)/Computer Program Change Request (CPCR) status and recommend prioritization. * Deliver requirements trace for verification and test procedure development. * Update Interface Design Specifications and Application Programming Interfaces for interoperability with other systems. * Recommend design improvements to Command and Control systems software. * Participate in Software Engineering Review Boards and software code reviews. * Perform analysis of trouble tickets, and system failures. Recommend short term and long-term corrective actions. Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: * US Coast Guard C4ISR or US Navy Aegis Weapon System integration and test experience. * Department of Defense acquisition and/or engineering experience preferred. * Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project is required. * Strong organization and time management skills. * Attention to detail. * Ability to prioritize tasks. * Motivated, resourceful, and self-reliant. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
