We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer II to support our growing company. As a Systems Engineer II at Sera Prognostics, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's IT operations by ensuring a stable, secure, and efficient healthcare regulated technology environment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support of varying complexity to end users through our ticketing system, resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
In addition to frontline support, you will assist in the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of IT infrastructure-including servers, networking, security systems, cloud services, and telephony systems. This role offers the opportunity to develop broad technical skills while contributing to the ongoing improvement of IT systems and user experience across the organization.

Responsibilities
User Support & Operations
* Provide technical support for hardware, software, and resource access
* Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot system and application issues
Core Systems & Infrastructure Support
* Deploy, maintain, monitor and repair:
* End-user workstations and mobile devices
* Networking infrastructure
* Security Platforms and endpoint protection
* Cloud solutions
* VoIP and telephony systems
Maintenance & Documentation
* Participate in scheduled monthly weekend maintenance windows and off-hours on-call rotation
* Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge base articles
* Assist with training and cross-functional knowledge sharing within the IT team
* Systems and services uptime monitoring
* Unified communications system configuration and maintenance (Teams, Zoom, Etc.)
* Maintain HIPAA and other industry compliances
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-5 years of experience in IT Systems Administration or Engineering. Experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
* Experience with:
* Workstations and deployment
* VoIP telephony
* Helpdesk/Ticketing systems
* Hyper-converged or virtualized server environments
* Cloud architectures (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.)
* Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Familiarity with basic project management principles
Preferred Experience
* Experience troubleshooting enterprise systems and applications
* Scripting or automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
* Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, ITIL, ITSM, or security-focused certifications, etc.)
Benefits for Full-Time Employees
* Depending on experience and qualifications, the salary range for this role is $80,000 - $103,000 annually. It includes an excellent benefits package featuring an 85% to 95% premium-paid healthcare plan, 14 paid holidays, three weeks of paid time off, employee stock options, and more!
