We are actively recruiting a Systems Engineer to join our amazing team in Cape Canaveral, FL. Successful candidates will have a strong background in configuration management and experience leading teams. In this critical position, you will play a key role in supporting Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) modernization efforts at the Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) Ashore Facility on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL.



As the Systems Engineer, you will...

• Provided direct support to the Project Manager for modernization efforts at SWS Ashore
• Manage the development of system requirements for the modernization project
• Draft and edit SWS Ashore operational and programmatic documentation
• Guide the project team through the system engineering design and realization processes
• Collaborate with multiple Navy industry partners to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
• Provide technical expertise and guidance in design reviews, trade studies, and other technical meetings
• Offer a broad knowledge of facility management, construction techniques, code enforcement, and configuration management
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders both verbally and in writing
  
  

What You Bring To The Table...

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (or equivalent experience in requirements development and programmatic documentation development)
• 5+ years of experience in requirements development and programmatic documentation development, with a strong focus on configuration management
• Experience with process improvement and implementation strategies
• An active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level or above (or have held an active DoD clearance within the last 2 years)
• Track record of working with teams in a highly collaborative environment
• A willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
• High quality communication and presentation dexterity
• Excellent computer/technology skills
