About the role

An opportunity exists to join UGL's systems engineering team in an entry level role to support the deployment and management of requirements across the life cycle of complex inter-disciplinary Projects.

·       Develop a thorough understanding of the overall project and effectively communicate such understanding to the applicable Project Team members under his/her supervision

·       Prepare and maintain the Design Management Plans and provide status updates to the associated Project Program for the duration of the project

·       Ensure the design documentation satisfies the project requirements

·       Ensure a common approach to design templates, interface management, design deliverables, reporting and delivery program management

·       Review and oversee design outputs to ensure compliance with the project requirements

About you

·       An interest in the systems engineering discipline

·       Ability to understand and manage large amounts technical requirements/data in a Project specific requirements database (e.g. DOORS)

·       Ability to interact/engage with peers across multiple disciplines to ensure technical requirements are appropriately understood, allocated and tracked

·       Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
